Rallies for Research (April 2011)

In April 2011, more than 12,000 people rallied in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, Darwin and Brisbane, calling on the Federal Government to protect medical research funding.

The Twitter Rallies for Research were also a held and caused #protectresearch and #rallyforresearch to trend on Twitter in Australia and North America.
