Discoveries Need Dollars is a grassroots campaign aimed at promoting the value of medical research funding as an investment in the future health of Australians.
Public consultations on the future of Australian health and medical research
In 2011, the Australian Government commissioned a Strategic Review of Health and Medical Research in Australia. The review is focussing on how Australia’s capacity to produce world class health and medical research can be optimised in the next decade, considering many aspects of government policy.
From April to July 2012, the review will be holding public consultations in all Australian capital cities.
